March Savings for the Children

Late, I know, but here I am finally giving a report on our monthly savings.  In March we saved $106.93.  We did it the same way as in January and February.  We totaled any savings from grocery store coupons; savings from purchases made while an item was on sale, etc.  We rounded the dollar amount to $107 and sent it to World Vision for their “Survive to Five” efforts.  To most of us in this country the thought that many children across the world do not live to have their 5^th birthday is difficult, if not almost impossible, to grasp.  The death of a child before age 5 is an anomaly here.  Sadly, however, in too many places that is not true.  We liked sending monies to help towards giving children the chance to survive.
